At Rockwell A.M.E. Zion Church, our mission is to be a beacon of faith, hope,and love—transforming lives through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Rooted in Community Services and Love, we are called to: Worship with reverence, lifting hearts and voices in praise Witness with conviction, sharing the Gospel in word and deed Serve with compassion, meeting the spiritual and physical needs of our community Empowered by Christ, we work to build a just and loving world—one act offaith at a time.is

Zion Church as a thriving, Spirit-led communitywhere every soul is empowered to grow in Christ, serve with purpose, and liveout God’s love in action.As a church rooted in community, served in love, our vision is to: Raise up disciples who are grounded in the Word and prepared to lead Bridge generations through worship, education, mentorship, and fellowship Transform our community through outreach, advocacy, and prayer We strive to be a light in Charlotte and beyond—a place where heritage meets purpose, and all are welcomed to belong, believe, and become.

At Rockwell A.M.E. Zion Church, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture, shaped by our A.M.E. Zion heritage, and lived out through love and service. We believe:God is Triune — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, bringing salvation to all who believe.The Bible is God’s inspired Word and our guide for life and faith.Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith.The Holy Spirit empowers us to live, grow, and serve.The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, teach, fellowship, and serve.Justice, equality, and love are central to the Gospel.As part of the A.M.E. Zion Church, we continue our commitment to spiritual renewal, social justice, and transformative ministry.
